Here's what most people want to know before getting started
Individual sessions start at $[X] per session. Couples and family sessions start at $[X]. We offer a sliding scale fee structure for clients who qualify — don't let cost be the thing that stops you from reaching out. Ask us about it when you call.
Yes. We accept most major insurance plans. We also work with clients who are self-paying. If you're unsure whether you're covered, contact us and we'll help you figure it out before your first appointment.
The first session is mostly about us getting to know you. We'll ask about what brought you in, a bit about your background, and what you're hoping to get out of therapy. It's also your chance to ask us anything — about the process, our approach, or whether this feels like the right fit. There's no pressure, and no commitment required after a first session.
It depends entirely on you and what you're working through. Some clients come for 8–12 sessions focused on a specific issue. Others find ongoing monthly or weekly support more valuable over a longer period. We'll talk about this openly and revisit it regularly — you're never locked in.
Yes. Most of our therapists offer secure video sessions for clients who prefer to meet remotely. Online therapy is just as effective as in-person — the most important thing is that you feel comfortable and safe wherever you are.
Tell us. Seriously — if something isn't clicking, we want to know. We'll adjust our approach, try something different, or if needed, refer you to someone who might be a better fit. Your progress matters more to us than your loyalty to this practice.
Yes. Everything you share in sessions is strictly confidential. The only exceptions — which we'll explain in full at your first appointment — are situations involving imminent risk of harm to yourself or others, as required by law. We take your privacy seriously.
Not sure whether you need individual, couples, or family therapy? That's completely normal. Reach out and we'll talk it through. Sometimes the right service becomes obvious once we've heard a bit of your situation — and sometimes it changes as therapy progresses. We'll guide you.
